Grand ridge and Duthie Hill loop

After a first unsuccessful attempt at a loop from Bellevue to Grand Ridge/ Duthie Hill and back, I finished it the second day. The first day, my chain snapped on Grand Ridge and I took the downhill way back to the Issaquah bike shop to get a quick-link connector in case my repaired chain snapped again. There, I met Kent Peterson, whose bikepacking history goes way back and we chatted for an hour 🙂 The second day my bike worked well, but again, icy toes accompanied me the whole way. This loop included a lot of bike trail / road riding from Bellevue, but it was still good to get out and see a bit of my new environment.
